Dark Day Dark Night Festival
In July our CEO Natalie Vinton and Director of Cultural Heritage Jody Steele braved the cold and the rain on the longest night of the year to deliver two lantern-led tours of the Locomotive Workshops as part of South Eveleigh’s Dark Day Dark Night Festival.
Lighting up South Eveleigh on the Darkest Night
On the hour long tours our guests were taken on an atmospheric exploration of the dark shadows and dazzling lights of South Eveleigh. Natalie shared stories of the redevelopment process, highlighting the incredible feats of engineering, design and heritage conservation. Jody entertained the guest with stories we’ve learned along the way, including tragedy, triumph, and even a little romance!
